Edwin L. Pear is a life long resident of Washtenaw County and has been in private practice since 1966. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (1963) and his law degree from Wayne State University (1966). Mr. Pear's practice is devoted to business matters, real estate and estate planning. Mr. Pear formerly taught business law at Cleary College and was the Ann Arbor City Attorney from 1973 to 1975. Mr. Pear is a former Chair and Member of the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority Board and also served as a member of the City of Ann Arbor Pension and Retirement Board. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Washtenaw County Bar Association, of which he is also a former President.
