Francyne Stacey earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (B.A. Ed. 1977) and her law degree from Wayne State University (J.D. 1981). After practicing in Detroit for a number of years, Ms. Stacey joined Pear Sperling Eggan & Daniels in1988 and in 1992 was named an owner/principal. Since completing law school, Ms. Stacey has devoted her practice, almost exclusively, to employment law including litigation before various state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Ms. Stacey also frequently advised clients on issues such as personnel policies, non-compete agreements and employee discipline. Ms. Stacey has also developed an expertise in immigration matters, particularly related to employment and permanent residency and including appearances in Immigration Court and appellate work in this area. In addition to practicing law, Ms. Stacey is a dedicated community volunteer. She currently sits on the boards of the Washtenaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Michigan Theater Foundation.
